Dear Colleagues,

 

The 19th International Conference on Ion Sources – ICIS’21 will be organized by TRIUMF as a virtual conference from September 20-24, 2021. We are pleased to announce that the preparation of the conference is advancing, and that the ICIS’21 web page is now available and can be reached via https://icis2021.triumf.ca/. The International Advisory Committee has come to agreement on the selection of invited talks. Abstract submission will open on May 3, 2021 and will remain open until June 18, 2021. The Scientific Program Committee will select the oral contributed talks and will have the scientific program prepared by mid-August.

 

ICIS’21 will provide the opportunity for peer reviewed publication in a journal still to be determined. Information on abstract submission, registration, publication, etc. is available on the web pages. The costs for publication are included in the registration fee. Early registration deadline is August 19, 2021.

 

Poster sessions and coffee breaks will be organized in the virtual space of Gathertown (https://gather.town/). There it will be possible to meet exhibitors as well. All virtual booths will be available for the duration of the conference. The virtual space will allow vendors to have staff available at certain times that they will schedule. We are planning a Student poster competition and the three best rated posters will receive a prize.
